I am so sorry to learn of Dr. Rosenzweig's untimely passing. He was my graduate advisor when I worked on my MA at George Mason in the 1980s. It was impossible NOT to respond to his boundless enthusiasm and excitement about history and the teaching of history. He informed and still informs the way I view the presentation of history to the public. I will be making a donation to the NCH through the Combined Federal Campaign in his memory.

I was also a graduate student of Dr. Rosenzweig and have benefitted like so many from his scholarship and passion for history, especially 20th century American History and material culture. What a huge loss to the university and those involved in interpreting American history. I consider myself very lucky to have him as an advisor.
