The National Archives and Records Administration has posted a job announcement seeking to fill the post of the Executive Director of the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC).

On October 1, current NHPRC Executive Director Max J. Evans announced that he would be retiring on January 31, 2008. Mr. Evans, who was appointed in January 2003, will be assuming a new position with the Latter Day Saints Church Historical Department in Salt Lake City, Utah.
