Company I fought in the "Battle of the Wilderness. Having several wounded and killed in action..several members were captured and were sent to the notorious Andersonville Prison . I therefore because of our involment in this famous battle of the Civil War do heartily oppose any and all movements to destroy such a pristine and scared place , and a vital place of American Military History that should be perserved for geneartions to come.
