Archivist of the United States David S. Ferriero has announced the appointment of retired Brig. Gen. Patrick X. Mordente as the new Director of the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum, effective February 6.

The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) was enacted in 2015, reauthorizing the nation’s law governing K-12 education.
