NEH Community College Grants Announced

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) recently launched a new series of grants for two-year college institutions. Under the umbrella “Humanities Initiatives,” these NEH Community College grants are “intended to strengthen the teaching and study of the humanities in subjects such as history, philosophy, and literature” and “enhance existing humanities programs, resources, or courses, or to develop new ones.”

According to NEH, the grants must be organized around a “core topic or set of themes.” For example, they may support new programs, contribute to professional training, or bridge institutions for future collaboration. Applications are due August 15. To learn more please visit NEH’s website:
